Why Summer Time is the Best Time

Hey Seniors! Haven't booked your senior portraits yet? Well let me tell you why summer is the best time to book your senior photos. 

1. Beautiful Water Portraits

In Oregon we are surrounded by so many gorgeous rivers and waterfalls. Some of my top requested locations for senior pictures are the creeks around Silverton and Salem, Silver Creek Falls State Park and even the Oregon Coast. I photograph at all these locations year round, but typically only in the summer time can you actually get in the water!

2. Easy Scheduling

Most seniors have more flexibility in the summer. Once school hits then come practices, homework, games and all the fun school activities you won't want to miss. Senior year gets packed with so many todos that getting photos done early means you'll have the time to focus on everything else. 

3. Show Off Your Style

From flowy summer dresses to cool casual, you'll have more outfit choices. Plus there's a good chance you'll have a nice summer tan. 

4. Summer Vibe

I am not going to lie, summer is my favorite season. It just makes me happy. In those months leading up to senior year, there's so much excitement and anticipation, let's capture that! 

5. Bonus Sessions!

Not everything can get photographed during the summer. Have an offseason sport you love? Want snow photos?
